I am Alfred Verhoeven, lawyer by training, but for over 30 years active in Marketing, Sales and Communication, the last 20 years of which self-employed.
The past couple of years I have done my PhD Research at the universities of Tilburg, Erasmus and VU, bearing the name Marketing the Rainbow*. In the course of this research it became apparent that the theme resonated with many people and companies, but not many people knew what to do with it. * My research focussed on the history of gay marketing in the past 60 years, particularly in the USA and the Netherlands. It shows a large number of successes and failures, pioneers like IKEA and Absolut vodka, boycotts from conservative movements, rolemodels - and everything around it.
